Anupam has been nurturing his passion for cinema for the past 3 decades. He took his first step towards film making in 2017 when he attended FICCI Frames in Mumbai. Next year, he released his first film , Mirza's Friend Ghalib as a Screenwriter and Director which was released on Disney + Hotstar. The film has won 21 awards / accolades / nominations from film festivals from across the world. The title song, composed by Anupam, was launched by Rolling Stones. The late theatre and cine actor, Asif Basra played the title role.
